Peking, October 26, 1910. IN case the matter should not have come to your notice through other sources, I have the honour to report that "The Northern Bank" (of St. Petersburgh) has been amalgamated with "The Russo-Chinese Bank." The new institution will be known under the name of "The Russo-Asiatic Bank" and takes over all the assets and liabilities, together with the rights and obligations attaching thereto, of the two banks of which it forms the amalgation.

The new institution, which is said to have 150 branches, publishes the following particulars of capital :-
